After completing his primary and secondary education in Antakya, he was accepted to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and started his medical education. In 2003, the year he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, he passed the medical specialty exam and started his General Surgery residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. In 2008-2009, he received training in cancer surgery and organ transplantation at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Herrman hospitals in Houston, United States. After returning to Turkey, he became the first place in Turkey in the subspecialty exam for general surgeons held in 2009. Following this exam success, he received Gastroenterology Surgery (digestive system surgery) training at Turkey Higher Specialization Hospital between 2009-2012. In 2012, he became Turkey's youngest Gastroenterology Surgeon.
